Vantage Logistics Completes Dangerous Goods Shipment for Offshore Wind Project
Vantage Logistics has successfully completed the transportation of a Dangerous Goods (DG) shipment, comprising paint and multifunctional adhesive sealant for marine applications, from Viet Nam to Taiwan.

Dangerous goods transportation is one of the more complex areas of logistics, requiring stringent preparation and close monitoring throughout the process. From cargo collection and inland transportation to international sea freight, every stage requires close coordination and precise execution.

Dangerous Goods Supporting an Offshore Wind Project

The shipment included materials supporting the construction schedule of an offshore wind project in Taiwan. The marine-grade paint and adhesive sealant were classified as dangerous goods under international maritime regulations. Given their specific physical characteristics, storage and transportation require strict compliance with international packaging requirements, including UN packaging standards, to minimize safety risks.

Seamless Coordination – Maximum Safety

For DG cargo, every stage – from cargo collection and inland transportation to loading onto the vessel – requires stringent risk control procedures. Vantage Logistics coordinated these activities seamlessly under an integrated operational plan.

We directly supervised the handover process at the port of loading, ensuring that all handling activities fully complied with the safety requirements applicable to DG cargo before the shipment proceeded on its international voyage. The seamless connection between inland transportation and ocean freight not only eliminated potential “risk gaps” during cargo transfer but also ensured that the sensitive cargo was handled consistently and safely throughout the entire journey.
